I was looking for a convertible car to rent. I wanted to rent a MINI Cooper, but they were all rented out at the time. I went with a Soarer because it was somewhat interesting. I rented the convertible, but the trunk was very small. I didn't put the top down very much. Driving right next to the ocean was the best of me.

2016/03 Roadster(MX-5) New model AT

I chose an automatic because I can comfortably drive on this long-awaited vacation. The traffic was very bad in the middle of town, so I was glad I chose to rent an automatic. It was sunny every day I was there, so I fully enjoyed the amazing views of Okinawa. You can enjoy the views from the car, you can gaze at the starry sky, you can enjoy the beautiful air in Okinawa, and more. The newer model Roadster has better gas mileage than I thought.

2014/09 Roadster(MX-5) Soft Top

I wanted to feel special and to try driving a convertible car. I tried to put my suitcase in the trunk as soon as I arrived, but it did not fit. I felt a little awkward because I ended up putting my suitcase on the passenger seat, but as soon as I saw the perfect starry sky with the cover open, I forgot all about the suitcase problem. Amazing feeling of freedom. The Roadster I rented from Speed Rent A Car was tuned-up a little bit, so I could enjoy it more.

2014/02 Roadster(MX-5)

I wanted to rent a convertible car at an affordable price. Even though it was the end of February, it felt so good to drive with the cover open. I rented the manual transmission, and I really enjoyed driving it. I loved the sense of indescribable superiority.

2015/10 SOARER

I just wanted to cruise around. It was so comfortable that the person who was with me fell asleep. Feels like the sky is a part of the car.

2016/07 Roadster(MX-5) New model AT

I wanted to feel the exhilaration with a convertible car, and wanted to feel the light feeling of Roadster. I also thought about the heavy traffic in Naha, so I chose the automatic. I needed some courage to drive with the top down in hot weather up to 33C°. You can be one with the wind. This is the only thing I can say.

Because it is a very popular sports car, and it is hard to get a manual car nowadays. I went to Churaumi. You can enjoy an extraordinary experience.

2016/01 Roadster(MX-5) New model

I am thinking about trading my car in and get something else. I went to a cherry blossom festival. It was so wonderful to drive the convertible as I enjoyed looking at all the beautiful cherry blossoms. The feeling of connecting with nature through the cool breeze. The feeling you can't get with enclosed cars and air conditioning. You are missing out if you drive anything else. Everyone needs to experience this once in their lifetime.

2014/09 SOARER

I searched for a convertible car, and it was perfect. I stayed at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, and we went to the Churaumi beach, and enjoyed golfing. It felt so good driving the convertible as we went from place to place. It was the best car for the weather in Okinawa.

2014/04 Roadster(MX-5)

I loved it! I enjoyed driving the car near the ocean, the sugar cane fields, and driving through the Yanbaru Forest. The wind blowing on me was awesome. I don't think many people understand the freedom you feel with unobstructed views a convertible offers. I could feel and smell everything around me.

2016/02 Roadster(MX-5) New model

I wanted to drive a manual car which is very hard to find nowadays even with convertible cars. There is a possibility I could be buying a Roadster in the near future, so a part of the reason for this rental was a test drive. It was exciting to drive over Kouri Bridge under the beautiful blue sky. I loved the blue sky and the sunset, and I felt like I was a big part of nature.

I can't understand why anybody would rent cars from other companies. To be honest, the non-operating charge and disclaimer compensation fees were a little higher than the other rental companies, but if you can rent convertible cars at a cheaper price, it ends up being even in the end. Looking at the whole picture, I would never think the price is too high. A fair price. I have rented twice, and the cars were in very good condition both times. The first time I rented a car, the condition was excellent. I was so impressed, that I recommended this company to other people, and the sales staff remembered me for leaving a good review for other people to see. I visited this company again for my second rental. One of the employees told me, "I worked so hard to polish this car for you yesterday." Sure enough, the car shined and looked excellent. The purple body was so beautiful. I think rental companies use compound or body coating to cover small scratches. These scratches usually show when you wash the car. This car had no scratches, and this tells me they take very good care of their cars. While I was staying in Okinawa, I could not get over the satisfied feeling I had when driving. I started loving it so much that I thought about buying it for myself (lol). The Soarer is my new wife in Okinawa (lol). I am planning on seeing the same Soarer again in November this year. I already made a reservation. I am bringing my own tire wax and chamois for the tires this time (lol). Just like always, I can't wait to see the shiny Soarer again, which is well taken care of. Because it is Soarer, going to places itself is an eye catching experience. The under-sea road made me feel like I was carried away in a dream. Driving over Kouri Bridge is an experience everyone should enjoy. Drying my wet hair from the scuba diving with the breeze as you drive is one of my favorite experiences. As I was thinking, "I forgot to use sun screen." (lol). The sunburned face and my upper body was my reward and proof of playing hard in Okinawa with the convertible. You need a convertible in Okinawa. No matter what, you need a convertible. If you want to enjoy the blue ocean, blue sky, and the southern wind, you need a convertible. If you're going to rent a car, you need a convertible. And I don't work for them, but if you are renting a convertible, I strongly recommend Speed Rent A Car(lol). Other companies may be good too because I think they take care of their cars, but Speed Rent A Car should be your first choice (serious face). Now they are carrying even more cars. Rows of great looking cars to choose from.

I was thinking about test driving the newer Roadster. I already drive a manual car, so I chose an automatic car this time. I was a little bit worried because this was the first time for me to drive a convertible car in Okinawa, but it was very comfortable without any rain. The best thing about the convertible was seeing the star filled night sky. I was fascinated to see so many stars that I usually don't see on the mainland. You can feel and smell the air. You can enjoy the atmosphere around you and see the various reactions you get from the people around you when you drive a convertible. It was an awesome vehicle that makes me think we could achieve world peace if everybody in the world drove convertible cars.

My father used to have the first edition Roadster, and I often borrowed it and drove it around. I hadn't driven newer ones, so I wanted to drive one someday. I visited Okinawa to attend in my friend's wedding. Therefore, it created a great opportunity for me to have a memorable experience. Driving the Roadster while visiting Okinawa increased my usual experience when in Okinawa. The breeze made me feel so good! I loved the sound of the engine! I stood out!

2014/06 Roadster(MX-5)

I have always wanted to drive a convertible, my dream car, on a beautiful summer day in Okinawa. I decided to rent it right away because the price was very similar to the light weight cars from other rental companies. I could fit two carry-on luggage bags in the trunk, so there was no inconvenience for me. It was raining so hard on the day I arrived because of the rainy season, but the news announced the rainy season was ending on the next day. After the rain stopped, the weather changed to hot sunny days. Air conditioning was nice to have, but I could not stop driving with the top down. I just enjoyed the experience and freedom a convertible gives me. When the top was closed, I could not hear any noise from outside at all, and there were no problems driving in the rain neither. If you own a car with a sun roof, and enjoy what that has to offer, then you should definitely try a convertible. It will change the whole outlook of your life.(^^). It is hard to keep the cover open when driving around in the middle of Tokyo with lots of smog. However, you can double your enjoyment on your vacation in Okinawa when you drive this car. You can't beat the ocean views of Okinawa while listening to your favorite music.

I want to own the car. I drove with my friend. I always wanted to drive it, but I didn't have the opportunity, so I was getting excited as the day I could rent was getting closer. It was a busy time at work, but it motivated me to work even harder thinking about the day I would be able to rent my own car. The feeling of freedom.

I always wanted to drive a Roadster once in my life. I drove around on Kouri Island and Sesoko Island, I also drove on an undersea road. The feeling of driving over Kouri Bridge with the convertible cover wide open was the best. With the Roadster, you can experience the extraordinary feelings you can't experience with standard cars. Driving with the wind on your face is the best!

2015/03 SOARER

Back in a day, when I first started working, I was very interested in Soarers. It was a dream come true to rent one this time. I rented a convertible of course, and I could enjoy the beautiful sky of Okinawa. I stayed at Alivila Hotel, and the sunset from the balcony of my room was the best. I usually speed when I drive, but I drove slowly because of the wind was so strong with the cover opened. I felt relaxed.

2015/09 Roadster(MX-5) New model

Convertible, transmission, and brand new. It was nice driving right next to the ocean. It was like riding a bike.

2016/04 Roadster(MX-5) New model

I wanted to test drive it before purchasing it. It was so wonderful to drive with the top down along the ocean. To be able to feel the wind.

Because it was a manual car. I am a resident of Okinawa. We have a lot of rent-a-car companies here in Okinawa, but it is very rare to find companies who rent manual transmissions. I would be so happy if Speed Rent A Car starts carrying more manuals. Freedom I felt when I was feeling the wind.

Rented from here because the car was so cool! The doors opening and closing were like a robot transforming, and everyone was staring at me! The sky felt so close I could almost touch it, and that was another thing I loved about it.
