Because it was cheap. I usually drive around a shorter car, so Toyota 86 was a lot longer. I didn't rent a convertible car. I would like to rent a Roadster with a stick shift next time I do business with them.

2014/04 Roadster(MX-5)

It was a convertible car which was made in Japan and was easy to drive. My wife and I got in an argument because we couldn't find the place we wanted to go using the navigation system with the address on a tour guide book. I loved the convertible because I can feel the wind.

Because this model won the best car of the year, and I was interested in it. It was fortunate the weather was good only while I was driving. The amazing sense of freedom.

It is a convertible and easy to drive. It was a very windy day, but it was very comfortable without too much wind blowing into the car. I felt as if I could touch the sky.

Reliable service and, most of all, the prices are cheap. I used this to drive my parents around in my home state of Okinawa, and was a life saver. Will use again.

I chose to drive a Porsche Mission. No comments. The engine was loud and loved it.

I wanted to drive a convertible car. I have never had so much fun driving before. The feel of the breeze. I loved the freedom of the open air.

Because it was a convertible car. I couldn't take the top down on one of the days I was there. Loved the sense of freedom and the sound of the engine.

My wife wanted to drive a sports car, but she doesn't know how to drive a stick. The wind made me feel good because the air in Okinawa is very refreshing.

2015/05 Porsche Boxster

I chose it because I wanted to drive it once. I was very satisfied when I visited several restaurants and ate my favorite Okinawa Soba Noodles. I drove back and forth a few times over the Kouri Bridge because I felt so good driving with the top down!

2014/12 Roadster(MX-5)

I was looking for a car with the manual transmission. I thought it was great that they carry hard-top convertibles. It felt so good to open the cover and drive slowly right by the ocean. I could feel the ocean breeze of Okinawa as I drove down the road next to the ocean.

2015/09 Vellfire(2015-)

I chose an over-sized car because I wanted to invite a few people to ride with me. I wanted to be comfortable and thought I should rent a brand new car if I was to rent an over-sized car. This was my first trip to Okinawa, but I really enjoyed it. It has been my dream to drive a convertible car in Okinawa, but I thought it would be too expensive if I rented two of them (lol). With convertibles, I don't need to open every window when I want to see the ocean. I would love to drive a convertible once, but I wouldn't care to drive it for very long (lol).

2014/08 Roadster(MX-5)

This car is a better experience with a stick shift. The price was cheaper compared to others. It was hard to drive the manual car in the heavy traffic. The convertible allowed me to see the entire sky.

2016/11 Roadster(MX-5)

Rented this car to test drive one before buying anything. Unfortunately, the weather was bad so I couldn't enjoy any blue skies or oceans, but the drive to the aquarium was splendid. I loved being one with nature and driving.

2017/01 Vellfire(2015-) campaign

Usually I ride the same car, so I thought it would be a nice change of things. The Vellfire was really comfortable, fitting 6 people. This rental place also offered fast pick-up services, as well as fast responses to our reservations.

2015/07 Roadster(MX-5) New model

I used to own a Roadster, and I wanted to drive it again. I don't know if it was because of the hot summer days, but I saw a few convertible cars during my two-day stay, and I was the only one who had the top down (lol). The feeling of freedom and the feeling of the breeze.

2016/12 Roadster(MX-5) New model

I love convertibles - especially Roadstars. I usually ride my Roadstar, but because I can't bring it with me to Okinawa, I was so happy I found this service where I can rent stick shift cars (I'm sure even the car company wouldn't be able to give this service for this cheap). In the daytime, the view is amazing, but the starts at night were too good to not look at with the top down. It was a bit cold, but my fellow passenger looked happy. It was great that the weather was nice (although it did start pouring, but that is also a great memory), the feeling of freedom was amazing, and the fact that you don't have to drive fast to feel like you're really driving was extraordinary too.

I loved it! I enjoyed driving the car near the ocean, the sugar cane fields, and driving through the Yanbaru Forest. The wind blowing on me was awesome. I don't think many people understand the freedom you feel with unobstructed views a convertible offers. I could feel and smell everything around me.

I have always dreamed to drive a convertible car on a southern island. Unfortunately, it was not that special. It was fun to just drive. You can experience your surroundings a little bit easier.

I'd never driven a compact convertible, and wanted to test drive it. I drove downtown and you could really enjoy the win, the sea, and the atmosphere.

It was not a car I can rent all the time. To be able to experience the beautiful places in Okinawa with a convertible car. It was very comfortable to ride in that came with a sense of freedom.

Wanted the Vellfire because we needed a car that could hold 7 people. Diving in Okinawa was cool.

2013/11 Roadster(MX-5)

Because it was a manual car. I am a resident of Okinawa. We have a lot of rent-a-car companies here in Okinawa, but it is very rare to find companies who rent manual transmissions. I would be so happy if Speed Rent A Car starts carrying more manuals. Freedom I felt when I was feeling the wind.

We needed to have a car that could carry lots of people. We had eight people traveling together. It was very nice to go places in one car. We had so much fun having conversations, and we didn't stop laughing during the trip. Also, the staff was very nice and we would love to do business with them again. It was not a convertible car.
